Klink & Klank was a group project I did alongside 9 of my fellow students. most of which I had never met before. I was one of our 3 programmers. Assisting where I could and handling most of the in game pickup logic and also the "victory screen".

The purpose of the project was about simulating a real work environment with real work hours.
VIRO, our client. is a non-profit organization that focuses on the well being of people with mental disabilities. They came to us with an issue, they had not been able to find a game for their clients that was entertaining enough for them. They were not too familiar with the design process so most of that was left to us.

The hard part was understanding accessibility. How do you make a game entertaining enough without making it overstimulating? It took us multiple playtest to understand what are target could and could not Handle.
I picked this client because as a student I have worked at a very similar company. Taking care of people with various mental and physical disabilities. I was very inspired hearing VIRO's story and with my background I was able to help the team with some of our design choices because i felt like i had the best understanding of our target audience after working so close with them for so long.
